All building permits for those farm buildings greater than 600 sq.m. Effective November 1, 2010, ITS is the AHJ for all farm buildings having an area greater than 600 sq.m. The Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) is determined by the geographic location of the building in Manitoba, and whether the building must comply with Part 9 or Part 3 of the Manitoba Building Code.īuilding and/or Plumbing Permits are required for new construction of all buildings, with the exception of farm buildings.
Inspection and Technical Services (ITS).
In Manitoba, Building, Plumbing and Occupancy Permits are issued by one of 3 Authorities Having Jurisdiction in Manitoba:
